ASOMS Paradise remains unbeaten - 26.6.06

Defending Champions of the Digicel Premier League ASOMS Paradise remains unbeaten after a convincing victory 6-2 over Police on Sunday at Victoria Park, Grenville. It was indeed a goal fest as Jake Rennie netted a hat trick for Paradise and Dennis Rennie with a pair for Police. Paradise has now moved from the third spot to the second in the table. Police may even face further difficulties as Dennis Rennie is likely to travel soon.

GBSS suffered their second consecutive defeat also on Sunday away to Carib Hurricane.

National striker Nigel Bishop scored the lone goal for GBSS although he missed from the penalty mark, but it was double in the first half from Kendall Baptiste that brought victory for Hurricane pushing them higher up the table on seven (7) points.

The previous day, Springs edged D'Sports Shop Morne Jaloux 1-0 at Queens Park to record their first victory. Dwayne Leo scored the lone goal of the match.
