GRE Women
For the first time ever Grenada participated in the FIFA Womens World Cup Qualifiers. The Team commenced training about four (4) months before the competition date. Some of the players also represented Grenada in the recent Caribbean Football Union Under 20 Competition. They lost their first match 10-0 to Trinidad and Tobago, then drew the second 2-2 with Dominca and lost the third 5-0 to St. Vincent. Some of the key players on the team were strikers Kishanne Thomas, Natalia Vincent, Midfielders Rockel Hood and Deslyn Langaigne. Rockel Hood was named Footballer of the Year 2005.
